Bangalore Active Covid-19 Cases Live, Bengaluru, Karnataka Omicron News Latest Updates, Bangalore Curfew Today News, 25 January: The state on Sunday reported 50,210 new Covid-19 cases, its highest single-day spike since the beginning of the pandemic.

Bengaluru Live News: While Karnataka recorded a marginal decrease in new covid-19 cases on monday, the state Covid positivity rate climbed to 32.95%, according to the state health ministry. Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said Monday the decision to further ease covid 19 restrictions will be taken after analysing the pandemic situation in the state. The state government had recently lifted the weekend curfew but kept the restriction from 10 pm to 5 am in place.
The state reported 46,426 new Covid-19 cases, and 32 deaths in the last 24 hours. The state’s active cases is at 3,62,487 along with 41,703 recoveries for the day. Bengaluru alone logged over 21,500 new cases.
However, the daily hospitalizations in Karnataka have remained low throughout the third wave. Experts say hospitalization is low due to high vaccination statistics.Meanwhile, there are 233 containment zones within Bengaluru’s corporation limits, 57 of them in Mahadevapura zone, 53 in Yelahanka, 48 in East, 39 in Bommanahalli, 20 in West, 10 in South, four in RR Nagar and two in Dasarahalli.
