All of this data is found in the research by the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP) which examined social media followers of celebrities from all over the world. Deepika Padukone is in the 6th position with 45% of fake followers. 63, 441, 661 followers out of 12,97,98,916 turns out to be fake. Priyanka Chopra is in 10th place with 43% of fake followers on both Twitter and Instagram. She has 11,21,94,500 followers and 4,85,54,193 followers are fake.
For Virat Kohli, the count of fake followers are up to 44%, which means 2,96,53,647 followers out of 6,70,29,904 are fake.
