Simon Leviev, the Tinder Swindler is actually having a hard time surviving in Israel, quite opposite to what Netflix has shown at the end of the show – Tinder Swindler. 

Tinder is a go to dating app for everyone around the world who are looking for love, but there has also been scams, like the one we have seen in the case of Simon Leviev. Indeed, it has become a starting point of a complete nightmare for several European women after meeting Simon who they thought he was a prince of diamond industry. Now that it hs been known all over the world, Simon Leviev, an Israeli national also goes by the original name Shimon Hayut has now become a top search on the internet.

Netflix’s Tinder Swindler claims that he frauded approximately $10 million between 2016 and 2019. He did this impersonating with different names to different women on social media, especially Tinder. He would regularly scam the European women he met on Tiinder and lure them with destination dates via the private jets, five-star hotels and expensive meals.
