South Africa Beats India in 2nd ODI & Claims The Series

South Africa defeated India in the second ODI by 7 wickets and claimed the series by 2-0 in a 3 match series. India lost the first ODI by 31 runs.

India won the toss chose to bat first in the second ODI and scored 287 runs, which South Africa chased down while losing 3 wickets. South African openers Jaaneman and de Kock scored quick runs and built a strong partnership of 132 runs for the first wicket in 21 overs making it easy for the team to chase 287 runs.

India hasn’t changed its team from the first ODI and the bowling was a major disappointment. The economy of Indian bowlers was disastrous in the powerplay rounds.

The third and final ODI is going to happen this Sunday, on 23rd January at Newlands Cricket Ground.
