IPL 2022: PBKS, SRH Complain To BCCI on Lucknow Franchise

With IPL 2022 Mega Auctions Around the corner, the fishing for demanded players has begun and the first in the race seems to be the Lucknow franchise.

According to the reports, Punjab and Sun Risers Hyderabad teams have complained to BCCI on the Lucknow franchise saying they are manipulating their key players KL Rahul and Rashid Khan to leave PBKS and SRH. As an exchange, they are being offered a sum of 20 Crore for KLR and 16 Crore for Rashid Khan.

“We haven’t received any letter but we have received a verbal complaint from two franchises about players poaching by Lucknow team. We are looking into it, and we will take appropriate action if it proves to be true. We don’t want to disturb the balance. You cannot avoid such things when there is fierce competition. But it’s not fair to the existing teams when they are trying to balance everything,” a senior BCCI official told InsideSport.
