Bharat Biotech gets DCGI nod for intranasal booster dose trials

The Drugs Controller General of India on Friday permitted Bharat Biotech to conduct trials for its intranasal booster dose. The trials will be conducted at nine different sites, ANI reported.

Addressing the media over the current Covid-19 situation, the government said, as many as 1,292 cases of Omicron variant were found on genome sequencing in December while the number rose to 9,672 in January.
