In a historic movie by the government of India lead by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister for Home Affairs Amit Shah moved the proposal to remove controversial Article 370 in Rajya Sabha amid furor.

The government took precautions for the last few days in the valley region to avoid any protests as the government is trying to solve the most sensitive issue that is in pending for the last seven decades.

Before the bill was introduced in the Rajya Sabha, the Kashmir turmoil rocked the upper house as Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad raised the current situation in Kashmir.

The entire state of Jammu & Kashmir is under curfew with section 144 being imposed in several districts. The war-like ambience in the valley is under the control of the Indian army with mobile phones and internet services shut down. Three previous Chief Ministers of the state are under house arrest.
